BITLESS BRIDLES |
Our unique Bitless Bridle is designed for
people who like to ride without a bit and whose horses are yielding well to
nose pressure. It is more secure than riding in a rope halter as it has a bridle
headpiece with adjustable browband and throatlash. It also offers a side pull action
via rings set in either side of tightly rolled noseband - enabling
better control of the horses head. The loops behind the noseband (as in a conventional
rope halter) are smaller to prevent the reins pulling back against the front
of the neck if attached at that point.
We do not recommend the Bitless Bridle for any horses which are not yielding well to nose pressure, though we have found some horses with resistance to bit pressure are much happier in a Bitless Bridle.
There a 4 styles to choose from below, they all work the same but offer different looks and prices. Also remember to let us know whether you want brass or stainless steel rings (NOTE, REINS IN PHOTOS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN PRICES):
